DISCLOSURE STATEMENT – LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (KVKK)

Clarification Text on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data This disclosure statement has been prepared by Montra Corporation (“Data Controller”) in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and the relevant legislation, in order to inform you about the principles, purposes, transfer of your personal data, and your rights as a data subject.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data
 
Your personal data may be processed by Montra Corporation for the following purposes and within the legal processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:
  • Ensuring the effective provision, execution, development, and monitoring of services
  • Establishing and managing customer communication processes
  • Establishment or performance of contracts and execution of related processes
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations arising from legislation
  • Evaluation and resolution of customer requests
  • Execution and auditing of business processes and commercial activities
  • Conducting security, marketing, and advertising activities

Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Grounds

Your personal data may be collected through electronic environments, website forms, membership or contact forms, call centers, email, physical forms, cookies, or similar communication channels. These data may be processed based on the following legal grounds:

  • Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract

• Data controllers located abroad, in compliance with legal requirements
 
Retention Period of Personal Data
Your personal data will be stored in accordance with the retention periods specified in KVKK and other applicable legislation. At the end of these periods, the data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Additionally, in case the data subject withdraws their explicit consent or terminates their membership, the data will be disposed of in compliance with KVKK.
 
Rights of the Data Subject (Article 11 of KVKK)
As data subjects, you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK:
 
  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • To request information if your personal data has been processed
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose
  • To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • To request correction if your data is incomplete or incorrectly processed
  • To request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of KVKK
  • To request notification of such actions to third parties to whom the data has been transferred
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems
  • To request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of your personal data
